Missions PRAY

The prayer support of a sending church is the force behind every sent missionary.

The kingdom of God is near. A church that is concerned for the gospel sends missionaries into the field. But a church that recognizes the urgency of the gospel prays for its missionaries on the field, while praying more go out to bring the message of the kingdom into the world.

In Luke 10:2 Jesus told the disciples “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”  We ask, we seek, and we pray because it is God who will do the end goal of every missionary: turning hearts to Himself.

No missionary is facing the spiritual battle on the field alone. Every missionary ought to be covered by the intercession of their sending church because it is our most basic responsibility. If we are as church do not pray for our missionaries, then we ought not send them out. For it is akin to us sending a soldier out to the battlefield without any armour or weaponry.

Will you join us as we stand in the gap for our brothers and sisters?
